However the live version doesn't reflect the updates. The includes are turned on in site features. To edit these he uses the edit code feature (had to create a free admin account for him). Editing the code works fine, all the php tags throughout the document remain intact, the problem is when he goes to publish. The page also has some text and images that he can edit. When he goes to publish all of the php echo's are just written to the page as html, like you'd see in the source. So if he goes to edit the variables again, they don't work because the echo code no longer exists in the document. Another issue I'm having is when he edits a link to point towards another page on the site. Instead of just the url being displayed it's coming with something similar to http://cms.pagelime.comhttps://www.myurl.com/index.php I've also set up the page to have an editable image displayed on top of a hidden form submit input button, allowing my client to change the appearance of the button. Just one question: say he edits a page and then wants to mess with the CSS or whatever and comes to me, whats the best way to get the up-dated webpage back into Dreamweaver? Initially, I thought I would just look at the edited pages on PageLime and use the admin account on PageLime to access the HTML and basically copy and paste over the original Dreamweaver page on my HDD. Or are there any other ways? Thanks for your help. When I would upload an image or document the path that is automatically created once the image or document is uploaded would be wrong. Example (clicking on a document) (before) http://www.domain.org/cms-assets/documents/45081-671606.document.pdf (what it should look like) http://www.domain.org/site_name/cms-assets/documents/45081-671606.document.pdf The difference is the site_name folder was missing. So I went into the settings and noticed that in advanced settings under site information that the site URL had the top level url but not the site_name, so I added it to the end of the url and this corrected the issue. Or at least that issue. The problem I am having now is in the cms. If I get to the pages by going site actions > site pages (this is the list view of the pages in the site) and click the site folder the pages now have the site_name/ attached, obviously because I changed it in the Site URL settings. Example (before) page_name.php (now) /site_name/page_name.php The problem with this is now if I click on the pages to edit them I get an error that says the page does not exist. The reason for this is because the site_name/ folder is now in the address twice. Example http://www.domain.org/site_name/site_name/page.php Am I missing a setting or have something incorrect somewhere? Although I could easily avoid the route with the error but my client seems to be stuck on it. Thanks for any help you can give. I did at one stage delete the file which caused this to happen, although not this particular case. Pagelime has always seemed to pick up where it left off as things are stored externally, so long as it knows which file to point to (I'm right in thinking the file is referred to by an ID no matter what we do with it our end?).
