I am a graphic designer who builds websites. My wife and partner Cheryl is a graphic designer who doesn't. She has started a sideline company selling belly dancing pants for practice wear. It is a simple site and I thought it would be the perfect test bed for pagelime. I've used a variety of similar cms options in the past and had high hopes that Adobe Incontext Editing (falsely placed). After reviewing dozens of CMS options for integrating with the Dreamweaver templated sites I build I settled on pagelime. Still figuring a few things out as how to make sure things stay in sync, an automatically generated email to the admin would be fantastic. I had another similar system set up as a demo on my own site that would allow users to log in and muck around. I used the email the system generated to trigger an applescript that replaced the page with my original so their changes wouldn't stick. The same system could download the changed pagelime page and my life would be great.
I haven't figured out how pagelime is working with my css, doesn't seem to stick, I'm sure I'm missing something, I set everything up without reading a single thing which is a testament to the simplicity of the system (so far) .
