Just a heads up about a commenting system I stumbled across today, might be useful for Pagelime's upcoming blog module:

I'm sure there are others like it, but this seems fairly useful and has Open ID / Twitter login available ... the only problem I can forsee is that if the service were to shutdown you'd loose your comments, but it might be a handy addition as well as saving yourself some database headaches!!

We've had Disqus on the radar for a long time. IntenseDebate as well :) They are both good options, but at the stage we last checked their API both would still require a user to log into their system to manage comments... something not everyone would like :(

The user login is a bit of a sticking point I'm sure, I know it would put me off a little. Excited to see what this blog module will look like ;)

I don't see the disqus login as a big problem to users. But the fact that pagelime doesn't have a blog system yet. is becoming a big problem for me and my users.
You already have the page editing and page adding functionality you just need to add an auto nav element that is tied to the blog pages. i.e. date archive and possibly tag/catagories. This could be an embeded tag like cms-editable.
I asked about this previously and someone mentioned that we could do this with a custom php script within our blog master page but I'm not sure how to scape the page created date (not the file creation date... we need a embeded tag called page creation date).
