I currently use Drop Down Menus on one of my sites: 216.119.100.35/Communications.php
When editing the Site in PageLime, the Edit Button appears underneath the Drop Down Menus. I can still click on it, but I can only see the bottom triangle part of the button.
Is there a way to force the button to the top? I do not want to remove the drop down via the comment out code because that is the easiest way for the user to navigate the site to edit pages.
I was having a similar issue with the z-index of the edit button being lower than another editable, causing the edit button to be unclickable. Since the edit buttons are offset a bit from the editable region on the top, the editable region above was actually overlapping the edit button.
I had to go and redo all my z-indexes to get the edit button higher than the div that was obscuring it.
I realize that having a z-index of 50 normally would be high enough to solve the issue, but for people who use multiples of 10 or more for their z-indexes, this can cause an issue.
It would be nice if you could override the z-index settings of the edit bubbles or at the very least have you guys increase the z-index to something much higher than 50. Realistically, this could be set to 1000000 and would have no ill effects on anything.

I think it's just three 9s: 999
I have a situation where I want an element on the page to lay above the edit bubbles, otherwise it would confuse the client.
Looks like if I were to set an index of 10000, that should work however you guys are at the max 9999 (or is it 999).
Is there a way I can convince you guys to use 9998, so that in the odd chance we need to get above the edit bubbles we can?

I tried to set a z-index of 10000 and it works. My element shows above the edit bubble. Thanks.
