   I am unable to access pagelime.com.

   I get the following error: Failure To Connect To Web Server

   From some reason I can access this forum on the forum subdomain but no other part of the site.

   I have tried three different browsers as well as clearing cookies and cache. Nothing works.

   I connect to the net via a Hughes Net Satellite. I occassional get that error but not for proloneged times. Usually I just hit reload and the page loads but nothing will come up on the Pagelime site. This has persisted for several days.

   Any ideas?

   For obvious reasons I need to be able to connect.

   I am having trouble as well. I connect with HughesNet but I don't think that's the problem. Ive been contacted by some of my clients who are getting the same "Failure to connect" when they go in to edit their sites. They use different dsl/cable isps. I believe it's an issue with PageLime servers themselves.

   Would anyone from PageLime please update us on what the problem is and an estimated time frame for when things will be up and running again? I would greatly appreciate it.

   I contacted the ISP and this is definitely a problem with the Pagelime server. Monique confirms this anyone since the issue is ISP independent.

   The Pagelime site is unreachable by pig or trace route.

   This condition has been going on for a while.

   Have you guys gone out of business?

   I can't believe you would allow servers to be down this long.

   Hey folks. You should have gotten an email from us RE status.

   We were down for 24 hours. Amazon AWS took down a whole host of startups, including Foursquare, Reddit, Quora, and Hootsuite.

   Both our database, data, and web servers exist in multiple availability zones so we should have been able to weather this. These things actually happen often and we stay online through them and come out fine, however we did not expect such a long structural failure in Amazon AWS, which is what resulted in total down-time.

   We're working on steps for this to never happen again. It sucks. It made us feel terrible, but we'll make a better system as a result of this experience.

   I know it must be a nightmare when this happens – luckily it didn't affect us much, good job as it's the one time I didn't check Twitter!

   Did you guys send that email out to all Pagelimer's, I didn't get it ...
