Root folder homepages named Default.htm or Default.html won't publish changes. I get a message: Oops! We've encountered a problem. There was a problem connecting to your FTP Server.
I can rename the same page to index.html or default-test.htm and it publishes fine. All server and ftp permissions are fine on the server. I can open the file in my desktop editor from Filezilla and save it back. I can also overwrite via the ftp settings used in PageLime for the site, using Filezilla.
I just doesn't work in PageLime. It can't be the code since it publishes fine under any other name. I don't want to change the page name as this is a huge site with many folders and all folders contain an initial page named Default.htm (all of which publish fine, except for the root folder homepage).
Seems like the problem resides with PageLime. I have sent two emails last week asking for help and haven't heard anything from them (and I'm a paying customer).
So, has anyone out there encountered, and solved, this problem?
