Hi, new to PageLime and amazed at how easy it is to integrate! A great solution for simpler sites.
One question, is there a way to edit the Lightbox captions that are pulled from the title attribute in the link? It would be nice to make the Lightbox thumbnail links a repeatable region so that the client can add pictures to their gallery, but is it possible for them to get at the Lightbox caption too?

Hi LC,
You know - there is a way to do it using the full editor, but not in the little dialog that pops up. I'll take a look at what it takes to add this field so you can get the gallery set up this way.
It shouldn't be a big deal to add that field.

Thanks Emil. With the full editor, do you mean going into the HTML view? A field in the pop up dialog would be great for clients! On a further note, would it also be possible to add a field for the "rel" attribute? That way you could also set up Lightbox sets that are linked to one thumbnail image.
Yeah, we'll try to implement both at the same time - I'll have to work with the team here to get the user experience polished up a bit. The dialog as it stands right now can't really afford that much more room for fields. A lot of folks clients have really small screens so things get pushed below the fold.
Let me loop back with the whole PL crew and I'll keep this thread updated.

Just checking this is still a WIP and you haven't made it all work and emailed LC outside of the forum!
To give clients the ability to manage a Lightbox gallery would be the icing on the cake! I reckon then we could create a very neat simple to use off the shelf website product for those that need a simple site quickly and easily.

Hi Ollie - this is going to be in the weekend release. I might push it out sooner if I can get it past QA and add it to today's bugfix release cycle.

We just rolled out a release that allows the link editor dialog to set both the REL and the Title attributes. It's pretty flexible, so it won't even show those fields if they are not present on the link.
As part of this update we also rolled out a feature that allows you to scroll a dialog that's larger than your screen (for small netbook monitors) by moving your mouse to the top or the bottom of the dialog.
