   I'm pointing a TLD to CMS.PageLime.com. So, instead of using a CNAME that points a subdomain (cms.mydomain.com) to the pagelime login I've configured my zone file to have the A Record @ point to the cms.pagelime.com IP Address 174.129.6.222.

   This is all working fine for me at the moment. I didn't see any topics or conversations about this in the forum.

   I'm wanting to make certain this configuration isn't going to cause issues in any way... now or in the future.

   I'm just noticing this now (a year later) but this is not a great idea. It will work because this IP is our load-balancer, but the cname is a much more stable approach. That IP is liable to change for incoming requests in the future.
